I never been a model, but was quite a popular guitarist growing up that got to play in settings most 16 year olds didn't. To me it felt like a privilege and a good experience. I didn't become famous though so it wasn't like paid gigs.

Trust yourself and your judgment. Don't try to rush things. And of course enjoy! That is what I think is a good advice. 👏

I wasn't a model growing up myself. (Never been.) But I was a popular guitarist for my age and able to play in groups with people, established in life. Probably twice my age or so. So I was hanging alone with these none-professional musicians (because almost no one is that, only famous ones can earn enough, ) but those guys had families and so. Cars, equipment and so. My friends wasn't self going.

Think my friends though it was strange, but to me it was a good experience. I always felt different generations should be friends anyway. That society at least here in Norway is a bit split. And I was longing for playing for people.

The groups I played in had gigs, I wouldn't have gotten. I fx played in a pub before any of my friends. Or on a workers organizations conference. But it wasn't paid, so I wasn't able to be self going, renting a place to live or so.

It wasn't outside my home country ether.

Live your dream young lady and trust your judgment.
