Beijing has announced a national security law for Hong Kong at its annual week-long political meeting which began on May 22, 2020. While nothing is set in stone yet, the law is expected to ban secession, violence and terrorist acts which take place in Hong Kong and are aimed at toppling the central government. The resolution will be voted on by members of the National People’s Congress (NPC) on Thursday, May 28. It is widely expected to be passed by the country’s highly choreographed parliament.

I agree with that last statement. So it's OK for other countries around the world to enforce their own national security laws? And not Ok for China to implement theirs? So basically only democratic governments can have the laws and not Ok for communist governments to have these laws? So what they're supposed to do? It's Ok to let those protesters continue using criminal means to continue wreck havoc on the city of HK even over half a year?

Hong Kong people must learn how lucky to live all their lives under the British rule for generations under democratic principles. Moving to other countries is not the solution from an Asian country to the west due to many racial issues not exposed. Canada and Australia are two examples when Asians were kicked and bullied due to political issues related to China.
