Young man found a way to make money golfing and still have fun. Good on him.

I saw an interview with Tom Watson on a TBS Saturday night replay of the Masters in the 90’s and he was asked how the rest of the golfers that don’t hit like the pros can get better. He said there are thousands of people that hit as good as we do…. It’s just that they can’t play with the pressure. That’s the only difference.

Grant is spot on. It takes a very special kind of mental toughness to play professional golf because the constant pressure is so relentless especially if you are outside the top 100

While everyone else is burying grant for being mentally weak, let’s give props to his self awareness and knowing what decisions are best for his own career in life

Fair play to Grant, open and honest about his choice and love that he’s a success, seems like such a genuine good guy!

Grants a really nice bloke, no arrogance, and to admit falling short in the mental department shows true mental strength in itself

There is a gaping difference between tour players and really good golfers. Young fella just described it perfectly.

Grant has been my favorite GG player from the jump. He really seems down to earth and just a very intelligent guy and student of the game.

As long as Grant is happy in life that’s all that really matters. Whatever he chooses to do I will support him! He’s a good guy with with a good heart and he is making his own way in life. One day Grant with celebrated for his contributions to the game of golf. His YouTube channel has inspired thousands of golfers both young and old. To inspire others, isn’t that the greatest gift an athlete can give to others!

I feel what Grant's saying 100%. I only played a year and a half in college, but when the stakes are high it's very easy to start letting your golf game dictate your mental well-being. I got to the point where I was just like "my hobbies and passions need to stay separate from work, " and ironically now I play way better on top of enjoying myself more. It makes it easy to enjoy the tournaments I do play in a lot more too

So pretty much he loves golf so much he doesn't want his love for golf to be ruined by it becoming his "job/career" because then love/fun of golf will be taken away which totally makes sense.
