at 4:58 i'm missing an explanation of the contracting ta-di-ki-na-tum which goes from each "syllable" occupying 5 16th notes to 4, to 3, to 2, and finally to 1, where it repeats 9 times.

it also sounds like something is "eating" parts of the phrase in between (ta-ka ki-ta ta-ka di-na), but i can't figure out the eating pattern.
