To me Mike Tyson is like Ronaldinho, both had a short period at their highest level, but that period was pure magic.

Lewis got better with age, Tyson worse. Just shows athletes peak at different times in their lives.

Lewis actually boxed. Very tactfully and skillfully.

Lewis was so underrated for what he did. No one was as aggressive in such a short time as Tyson but Lewis was just a pure boxer.

Lewis should be remembered as one of the best heavyweights of all time. He was huge, fast, powerful, very skilled, beat every opponent he faced and never ducked a fight

that jab, that head control, that movement... lennox was a master

Those jabs are utilized extremely well, they blocked a lot of Mike's vision and ending up getting clean hits. Massive respect to both fighters

Lewis has carefully watched Mike fights and choose the best tactic: take your distance and punch with long Left punches.

That jab was too much. Lennox knew exactly how to win that fight. He utilized his size perfectly.

If I was hit by those shots by Lewis. I would be dead as of now. These athletes are really superhuman to endure so much of pain

Lewis's boxing style was so airtight he made grown men cry in the ring. He blinded his opponents with jabs from a distance and cut them open with uppercuts when they tried to get close. He was also great at reading his opponents facial expressions and punished them with strong hooks or one-two combos when he noticed they were too tired or lost focus and lowered in their guard. All the while keeping a relaxed poker face and not ever revealing when he was hurt or about to strike a power punch. Totally in control.

I've never seen a boxer with such an efficient jab!

Late 80s Tyson vs Mid 90s Lewis would've been a sight to see.

"I was in a fucked-up mood and it was hard for me to throw punches. It was as if all those heroes, those boxing gods, those old-time fighters had deserted me. Or I had deserted them. All of my heroes were truly miserable bastards, and I emulated them my whole career, a hundred percent, but I was never really one of those guys. I wish I was, but I wasn’t." We still love ya Mike 😢

Tyson took a lot of punches that would have dropped most fighters.

Look at how Lennox moves, look at his jab compared to Joshua or Wilder. He's in a different class.

Tyson style is specific, in order to be winner he must be in perfect shape, quick and confident. This is not that Mike for sure, he looks old, slow and way out of prime.

Everyone talks about Tуson not being at his best, but everyone ignores the fact that Lewis is 37 years old here. He was spectacular. The most complete boxer ever. Those who mention Klitschko are ridiculous. He fought him when he was 38 and hurt him, won. Klitchko had 31. You expected a rematch, that he would risk his health to prove something to you? A man deep in retirement already after the match with Tyson. He was better than Holyfield both times. He beat everyone. The only real shame is that Tyson was in prison so this fight didn't happen a few years earlier. It could have been the biggest fight in recent boxing history.
