Dear Children,
We, the Presidency of Atatürk Cultural Centre are delighted to present to you fifteen stories as part of our project “Turkish Stories for Children” which we started in 2019.
We are excited to share with you fifteen Turkish stories called Miss Sunshine and Miss Raincloud, The Wishing Stone, The Cherries that Came from the Sky, The Old Fisherman, The Girl with the Golden Tongue, The Lion with the Silver Mane, The Talking Leaf, The Girl with the Violet Voice, Where Are You? Here I am, The Magic Hammer, Rattle Rattle Gourdling, The Ladybird and the Ant, Three Wise Words, and The Land Underground as part of the Turkish Stories for Children Project.
We hope you enjoy these fifteen Turkish stories, each more colourful and more exciting than the last, carefully picked by our Research Committee, and rewritten and illustrated just for you.
The main idea in our project was for “Parents to, from now on, raise their children with stories” and we hope these fifteen stories reach the children of the world and help them get to know our culture.
So, I would like to thank our friends at the Presidency of the Turkish Language Association, the valued members of the Research Committee of our project, our author, our illustrator and all who work at our Centre.
