I was shopping at a Target in Fresno, CA a few years ago. I turn and look, there is Rashad Evans. I turned and said what the F#%% is Rashad Evans in Fresno?! He was there to support a local MMA fighter, shook my hand and then introduced me to, "meet the next big thing in MMA, Jon Jones". They were both very cordial and graciously spent a few minutes talking with me. Great memory.

What an awesome dude Rashad Evans is. He is also a legendary fighter. He was awesome in his prime. Jones greatly benefited as a fighter from having Rashad as a mentor. Too bad Jon didn’t emulate Rashad’s behavior but nobody is perfect. I’m very impressed by how classy and supportive Rashad is.
