I'm completely obsessed by Mareux's entire discography and with this song in particular.
Being a long time fan of musical genres like post-punk, darkwave, EBM and industrial, this could fit perfectly with any synthpop songs from the 80s and with bands like Joy Division, depeche mode, The sisters of mercy, Bauhaus and nine inch nails.
At the same time, I find mareux music to be more originally unique and personal than modern groups who are influenced by the same kind of music
like Molchat Doma or Boy Harsher. There's something deeply melancholic and catchy about his lyrics and sound.

Two months ago I had a breakup with my girlfriend after a several years of really good relationships. This song helped me a lot to get through this nightmare in my life, from which, honestly, I'm not fully recovered still. Huge thanks and respect to Mareux for his art.
