GEICO Gecko visits Battleship Wisconsin

Auto insurer GEICO has begun airing a commercial that was filmed on the Battleship Wisconsin. The 30-second commercial, entitled "Tour," is part of a series of television spots featuring local landmarks around the country. It is airing nationwide.

My Dad was on the Wisconsin during the Korean War. He passed away in April of last year after a long illness. In fact, tomorrow is the one year anniversary of his death. It's hard to watch this commercial without thinking about my Dad. He is so loved and missed!
