OPPO A98 5G Review- This Budget Phone is WAY Too Expensive!

The OPPO A98 5G is OPPO's new flagship phone in their budget A series lineup. While it is a very compelling phone, at $649AUD, unfortunately it is just a little too expensive to be considered a good deal.

omg u are actually Australian and understand how expensive the iPhones and Samsung flagships are!! I got the OPPO A98 a few very months ago and it is extremely expensive. Would've gone for the Google Pixel 6

I bought this for 400 bucks Australian last week and I think it is a good price for the phone. Perhaps your review made possible the price decrease. Thank you!! I agree that is not the best OPPO and I would have not paid 600 for this. If I weren't on a budget I would pay for the upper range OPPO. 400 bucks is terrific for an every-day no fuss phone. Oppos used to include the screen cover and the case in the package, but no more. Cover and finish not as good as the one I bought 6 years ago, yet, I paid for the upper OPPO range then. I hate the fingerprint reader tbh, and the cover colour is not as lovely as in the photos, and the outer camera circles too bulky for my liking. And the scrolling and touch are just OK. The theme store, is going down down, with less themes and options than in my old phone. By the way, there is a feature in the settings to turn up the vibrancy of the colours, like two kinds of colours, muted and vibrant and really the vibrant is awesome.

When i bought mine I was given a free phone case for the Oppo A98, and since it was brand new at the time I also got free stereo or speaker, wired earpods, and a disinfection box.

I bought mine in the Main Oppo Store in a mall.

is the a budget phone for this pensioner to upgrade from a LG v30 plus, that at the 500aud tops and faster gpu etc, unfortunately getting issues on the old lg oppo x5 not available and over priced for ones out there.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro has Snapdragon 778G and costa 729$ in the Czech republic. While A54 is for 400$. Chinese phones are really expensive and overpriced.

I've bought and I regret
1.... Bad battery
2 ...fast charger came in the box and it's not working after 5 months. Tried to buy new original Oppo charge and it's 25 percent of the phone price
3.... Hanging always internet not working/ data don't work have to restart the phone
