I used to hate his 'character' in squid game, i guess everyone did..but at the same time i also admired how well he played his role. I got to know about his fear of heights days later after finishing SG and i was kinda surprised because never at a single point did he let that fear affect his acting. Man, i feel so bad for him. Hope he's doing well and is happy and healthy now <3

I feel bad for him, he had to face his fear forcefully, gain a lot of weight, and have a mental health problem, just to get a role of a famous show, i can't even imagine the pressure he is putting to himself, he deserves better than this :(

i used to hate him in squid game and completely forgot these actors are more than just characters on tv, since you posted this video i feel so bad for him that i take back all the hatred i had for him during the show, he was struggling irl during that point. my gosh. and since he made so many people hate him too, that proves he is a very great actor too - thanks agon for standing up for him

In my honesty, I’ve heard of his story well. It does tell us about how much you must take responsibility in your own pace, and why it can seem giving you the win, or giving you the biggest downfall. It was crazy to see how much success Sungtae was brought, but how much sacrifices he had to undergo, for the sake of his whole acting gig in Squid Game. Even when I hated his character while watching the show bcoz he seemed really evil, its without any denial that he did so well there. Sungtae’s acting was undeniably outstanding. look at how much he had to sacrifice and break his limits about, so hard. I wish him the best and he will be happy with what he will do as his future awaits. Sometimes it is the best to pace yourself slowly and not too hard. While living the best life in your choice of achievement.

I have honestly never hated him, in fact, he is one of my favourite characters in the movie. But it's just so sad hearing this about him, he had to face hatred and sacrifice himself to play as his character and to look like "The Big Bully" :( I just hope he is able to cope with his anxiety and that he is doing well nowadays.
