*LYRICS*
Baby didn’t fall baby didn’t feel from a tree
Mary Mary,
Quite contrary,
Enta omri,
Taste of cherry,
Bet you’ve never seen
Anything like that before

I know I know,
Who’s the girl
Never seen her
Bloodline runs
Tehran to Giza
Bet you never seen
Anything like that before

I know I know
Rose water on my patisserie
Koukou sabzi
Koshari
Bet you never seen
Anything like that before

I know I know
I’m rare baby
There’s only one of me
So rare baby
There’s only one of me
Real rear baby
I know I know

Mary Mary
Quite contrary
Enta omri
Taste of cherry
Bet you’ve never seen
Anything like that before

I know I know
Who’s the girl
Never seen her
Bloodline runs
Tehran to Giza
Bet you never seen
Anything like that before
I know I know

I like some elements of this song. I think she’s onto something.

This song feels refreshingly new to me and addictive too. Showcasing her multicultural heritage, the lyrics while may come across as shallow, self-loving and proud, I see it as a self-empowering, vibrant celebration of unique identity. Her voice, her stage presence, her outfit, I mean c'mon, it's a captivating performance no doubt.

The fusion of electronic dance music with Egyptian Mahraganat and North African/Bedouin music influences, I’m truly impressed by this blend. I’m excited to see what more Lafawndah/KUKII has in store.

Do I hate this? Do I hate myself? I have no idea for both questions. The beat is good? Bad? The lyrics completely lost me tho.

This is proper marketing! She has an original sound and is telling us so! Very rare and I love it! I'm getting a MIA vibe when she first dropped in the early aughts! Much SUCCESS to this RARE BABY 🔥🔥🔥🔥🎹🪩💃🏽🕺🏿🎛️🎧🎙️🎚️🎸🎷🪕🎺🎻🎵🎶💽

I know a lot of people are not into the song, lyrics or look... But, I kind of dig the whimsical, egotistical/self-loving vibe of this song. 😮

This is not for everyone, but it is for me! This is so different yet comforting, maybe because I love middle eastern music. Can't stop listening! She's a true artist, REAL RARE BABY! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

She sure is different. It reminds me of Björk. I hate it but it still intrigues me cause there is some foreign roots to it. Like tribe music.

Where r all my Persians who got excited when she said Kookoo Sabsie at? Thankful for this musician who represents us in the West without all the cliches/tropes of our culture.
