If that's a GDI engine then this won't do much from putting it in the tank. You need to put it in a canister hooked up to your intake vacuum line and let it drip in while you run the engine at a high rpm. Then heat soak it for an hour, then run it to clean it all out.

If your engine is direct injection, the fuel additive wont do anything. Great video by the way.

Scotty Kilmer says to run the engine at high RPMs (like 2nd gear) for 30 minutes for Royal Purple to clean injectors the best.

I didn’t see any difference. I think you have DI... do you? Cause if you do the valves wouldn’t show any improvement as no fuel touches the intake valves. But would benefit the injectors I’m sure. Nice try though?👍🏻

That royal purple cleaner results wich i see from this video only wetting the valves with little pid of clean results . Try Acdelco carburator spray and tune up. You'll love it belive me . Test it on your old car . It, s cheap and have very good results . Dont waste your time and money . Thanks bro .

a few questions: what car is this? looks like a Hyundai or Kia and I notice you are running a catch can (though not sure it is is a baffled one). This engine has run almost every additive you put on this channel....so if the crap is still on the valves despite adds and a cc, then perhaps the one way to resolve is with walnut this sucks....I'm getting a MPI car next....no more reg DI for me....

look people Royal Purple make great additives no question. they are formulated for off-road use in high performance apps. that being said ur grocery geter /A to B car will benefit very slightly from these, it will only stabilize the ethanol in the gas of you pump bottom of the barrel like alot of folks and will clean out build up in the injectors and maybe break apart build up on the CYLINDER only...wont really work with DI engines...u want to get rid of carbon build up tear apart the head and walnut blast it otherwise this is good for one thing, going of long road trip with speeds excess of 75mph constantly and higher if not very expensive and unnecessary fuel stabalizer
