I've been a Tascam user for many years including their Portastudios and trainers. I would love it if Tascam would incorporate drum tracks/rhythm loops on some of their recorders. That would be a nice feature to have.

A few months ago I bought the DP-006 to learn on & I was blown away by it’s quality & ease of use. Absolutely love it. I just ordered the DP-03SD & I’m excited to start recording soon

I just got a Tascam from Amazon warehouse, it looks brand new, and I have to agree with you, it is very easy to use for beginners, but a lot of features waiting to be explored. I had a small stereo recorder DR-07 before, now this is a big step up, thank you.

Tascam are a brilliant company, making incredible machines! I use a Tascam 688 portastudio and could not be happier :)

I record all of my songs on a DP32SD. I still own my 564. Been a Portastudio owner since the 90s.

Why do away with the CD burning function? The man in the video said something to the effect of “go dawless and never be burdened by a mouse or a screen”

Then from there you can transfer on a cd-rom and go the pro studio to arrange it as a Master level?

I know my machine is old and was brilliant but I want to save my recordings onto my computor now . I have a a DP-01 fx every bit of advice hasn't worked. I have the manual and it dosn't seem to work . Is it because I have windows 10 ? sorry about this quesiton no one else knows. By the way I made brilliant recordings on this. Three trumpet lines and sax etc brilliant machine thanks for listening xx

Through a 3.5 to 6.3 converter would I be able to use it as well as a recorder using a lavalier mic? would like to use it also for recording interviews, appreciate comments on that

If you'd add MIDI back to the bigger DP's, I'd buy a new one tomorrow. I ended up buying a used DP-02 because I needed a machine with MIDI to run my drum sequencers.
PLEASE put MIDI back in the DP series.

I’ve got a dp-03sd. Sounds good. It’s ok to use. Just ok because no midi/sync that I can find. Come on now. Just so disappointed after I bought it as I assumed any recording product today would have have midi sync.

I like the idea of using a tascam without the need of a daw on a pc. Although atm that's wt i got to do. What is the best and cheapest perhaps free way to connect Roland Micro cube, Marshall MG 15 CD Series, PEAVEY RAGE 158 Transtube, my Random Crate Bass Amp. Ibanez Tremolo SoundTank TL5, FullTone OCD, Dunlop Cry Baby GCB95. Fender Stratocaster BlackTop HH, Fender Malibu CE cutaway Electric Acoustic Guitar, Yamaha Bass RBX260. SAMSON R31S, and AKG D5 to my to my Alesis 8 Usb FX 8 Channel Mixer/Recording Interface to Tascam DP-004, that connected to Audacity or wtever Free Windows 7 Professional, Windows 10 Daw Tascam recommends most?
