Putin is desperate, he clearly knows his grip on power is slipping away. His threat of retaliating with nuclear weapons is a sign of his desperation. The oligarchs who run Russia won't be happy with Putin's escalation and I think we will soon hear of Putin's tragic and untimely demise by defenistration.

People seem to forget Chechnya. "Russia" was falling apart at the seams, with many regions eyeing the door, and that region was the first to take the plunge.

Good news: Today Ukrainska Pravda reported that Dimitri Kolomeitsev, the man who trained Russia's shahed drone operators (among other crimes) was assassinated in Moscow, presumably by Ukrainian agents.

By forcing so many unwilling conscripts to join the war, and treating them so badly, Russia has created a large body of disaffected people who have military experiebce and are less inclined to follow the state. They have created a potential avalanche for themselves.
