A NASA team of scientists and experts leading a new study on unidentified aerial phenomena, commonly known as UFOs, held its first public meeting on Wednesday. The meeting comes ahead of a UFO report set to be published this summer.

Nobody cares about the "online harassment" or "stigma" or especially the endless word salad sentence padding! Get to the damned point people! Oh, and, NASA has had well over half a century to 'update' it's equipment in order to be able to track or see UAP's so why are they bumbling around now saying they need time to 'calibrate' equipment blah blah blah. They are either a joke or more accurately LYING as usual. They, of course presented, the usual 'expert' that tells his anecdotal story to joke about evidence presented .The entire company and it's facilities should be closed down as a money wasting and collective joke it'self.

The problem with this panel is that you have subject matter experts who for their whole lives have played the safe game. They became credible because they chose what is deemed academically safe and acceptable. As soon as they steer away from the norm, they are no longer viewed as credible by their colleagues. Moreover, they can also suffer from severe professional backlash. It does not take an astrophysicist to understand that alien life exists if their are billions of solar systems in the Milky Way alone, and potentially billions or trillions of galaxies in the universe. No matter how low the probability of extraterrestrial life there is, the universe is so large that it makes such a probability irrelevant. Look at the lottery for example. There is always a winner even though the probability of winning is almost impossible. The person who wins must feel as if they beat the odds or were the chosen one!

Lastly keep in mind this is NASA we are talking about. NASA is a government agency. These are professionals who play the safe game and have a reputation to uphold. This organization usually pulls from academics, who again have played the safe game. Let us be real here, aliens exist and humans are not the smartest in the universe.

1) Government/public figures: NEVER use the term “follow the science” EVER again. The public now understands that it’s term that’s leaned on heavily when minds and public opinions are being guided
2) Suddenly uap’s “deserve rigorous investigation”? Why not in the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s or 90’s? Sightings/experiences are not more frequent, public interest certainly isn’t a real factor.
Bottom line: Either something that’s always been known is going to be revealed or it’s a distraction

in 2019 i have witnessed an object gliding across, but i wasn't able to tell too many people because of the stigma. One time me and my friend were jogging outside and upon spotting one of these objects, we sprinted as fast as possible (while looking at it) to gauge its distance to make sure it's not some kind of illusion up close, and I swear by everything that it was so far remained almost stationary for us, like sometimes a plane looks motionless in the distance yet moved in a strange stop-and-go movement.
