It’s golden week and we are LIVE streaming at Zojoji Temple and Tokyo Tower. First a visit to Zojoji Temple to see the Jizo statues dedicated to the souls of the unborn. And then a look at the hundreds of KOINOBORI (Carp streamers) at Tokyo Tower.

Your son is wise for his age. My parents went through something like this. Then I was born. So naturally I was the family's precious. I've heard of the Jizo statues but this is the first time I'm seeing them. Nice and refreshing video.

Dang Peter, I missed you by a couple of weeks or so....
We were there in Tokyo Tower with the Hato Bus tour. Seems they still didn't change the decor and all... xD
It was a bit too rushed though, even more when you are with another 6 family members, I didn't even have much time to take photos with One Piece stuff. But oh well, that's how bus tours go anyways. We didn't get to go to the top deck, so I couldn't enjoy the fruits of your labor... xD

But dang man, something we noticed a huge difference from our last trip (12 years ago) was just the sheer number of tourists there... can't imagine how bad things are during Golden Week these days. Honestly, not too sure that's a great thing... some of the places we visited was so packed it was kinda insane. Understandable though... everytime I go there I want more and more to go back. :D

Loved the live stream. I appreciate how hard it is to keep repeating where you are and why you are there because people are popping in and out. Nevertheless, it was very informative and Jyoji was his usual loving (and occasionally bratty) self. It's awesome to see a father and son interacting so positively. Many of us from an earlier generation didn't have that quality of family life. Keep up the good work and again, congrats on being YouTube certified!

Thank you for sharing this and your sad experience. Sadly my first daughter was stillborn, so I know how hard it is. In a month we will be in Tokyo so I will try to visit zojoji temple. Its funny how you say that joji is such a good kid because my daughter who is 9 is also very well behaved. It feels like the universe somehow makes up for the hardest time in life. Its always great to see you what a great Dad you are.
