Moto Z and Moto Mods first look

Lenovo has just announced the Moto Z and a suite of accessories for it called Moto Mods. They are a different take on modular smartphones than we've seen in the past, and let you change the look, feel, and capabilities of the Moto Z in a snap.

I was quite skeptical about the design first. But now that I see the different backs available, this phone looks pretty damn amazing. But are the backs part of moto maker? Are there only selective ones available or can we customize them as we please?

I work in retail and just came back from a training where LG was there trying to sell is on selling the G5. Totally did not get any hands on with the LG friends (or is it only friend since I only have seen the camera module?). Just seeing this is way more exciting than anything that LG has done. This is what modular phones are all about!
