The avata actually records gyro data when stabilization is turned off. You can use it in Gyro Flow. The software is better than Reelsteady and gives you more control. Both cameras have 10bit color & do 30fps. It’s just that the GoPro has slightly higher DR & resolutions that make it the better move.

Hi, how much flight time do you get on a battery when flying with gopro?

I just purchased a DJI Avata and GOPRO HERO 11 last week! I had a test flight yesterday using just the Avata and the video footage from the drone was okay, but I noticed that if you want to crop into the footage for Instagram reels or tiktok, you lose a lot of the image. This is where I think the GoPro will come in handy as the 11 has the ability to film in 8:7 aspect ratio so you can crop into both 16:9 and 19:6 for YouTube and tiktok.

What’s your thoughts on this? Have you tried this on your GoPro yet?

try Gyroflow on the Avata, it brings finished look parallel to gorpo, in outdoors light, it think it's toss up.

Also, I’ve just begun so I’m crashing a lot. Have you ever crashed and had the GoPro come off? Or had it damage the battery somehow due to being unlucky and having something yank it off? I’ve already had to send my avata away once when a small stick ended up making its way through the exhaust port in the back left propeller loop and damaging the internals…. 🤦‍♂️
