I am a child of the 60's so that car was one of the pin up's of my youth with the Testerosa and the Delta Integrale. In the 90's I had an Escort Si 1.8 and regretted not getting the GTI version with the body kit but then I was going to swao it for the RS2000 Escort but at the time I was doing 20k miles annually and that car had high miles on it anyway. In the early 2000's I drove a Cossie in anger on single track roads in south west Scotland to near 100 mph but was driven at 150 mph by the owner. What a car, it was offered to me but at the time a Land Rover was my next purchase for my move to island roads.

That is a facelift car which has the smaller turbo, which tamed the turbo lag of the original homologation run of cars.

I was massive ford fan back in the day . Loved the xr2 as well .

My friend Neil has one sitting in his garage pure white with a full knn induction kit and only 39miles on the dash it's immaculate beautiful cars my dad had one and a Sierra cos worth too I was lucky growing up
