Such nice healthy baby plants. The flowers will be stunning! You really cannot find ones like that at big box stores or even local nurseries unless they specialize in African Violets. 🌸

Everything good looking in this channel ! makes my day always. Thank you Gena. My Violets are all single petals dark blue with yellow center, some white, pink, NO VARIEGATION ON THE LEAVES FOR ME.

Beautiful violets Gena! That's one thing I cannot grow. I have wonderful memories of the violets my Grandfather grew in a spare bedroom.

Wow, I have been such a big customer of The Green Escape since my first order last year. My starlite syngonium starter came with 4 separate shoots that are all still doing amazing. Really healthy and you can tell they care about their plants!! Good to see them getting some well deserved shout outs💚 I had no idea African violets needed special soil. Maybe when I have an outdoor garden I'll explore more flowers😁😁

When I first got into plant parenthood in 2020, my husband, who is a total enabler 😊 got for me African Violet cuttings from his workmate. I was able to successfully root them and now I have 8 African Violet plants around my house. I noticed that mine have very long petioles (same as the cuttings I received). I don’t know whether the long petioles are characteristic of the variety I have are if its because of the conditions in which I am growing them. I love them all the same, the easiest plants I have in my collection and they constantly reward me with beautiful purple flowers.

I'm glad you showed you repotting, it's fun to watch! I need to check out the African violets on Etsy, so pretty!
Sulfur treatment worked well for me, had a few hoyas that were dormant, now growing new leaves 🌱
Thank you for putting out more videos 😊

Those are all so cute and will be beautiful once they bloom! Two of the first few plants that I started my obsession with were African violets (which I still have almost three years after starting my planty obsession). One is a light purple bloom with a medium green sort of almond shaped leaf and the other is a maroon bloom with a darker green more rounded scalloped leaf. Both have grown so much and are huge! I have propagated so many leaves from them and love them so very much even though they're a very "common" plant. I think African violets should definitely make a come back in popularity!

My first name is Paul, and the African Violet genus name is Saintpaulia. The African Violet is not in the viola family, but rather are a Gesnariad, which is in a group of plants that includes flame violets, episcias, Gloxinias, and Strptocarpus(painted tongue gesnariads)

Sorry Gena. I couldn’t finish watching this video because gives me terrible memories of my greyhound almost dying from eating an African violet I had while I was at work. I didn’t have a clue back then about any plants poisonous to animals. Be careful with your kitties please. I’ll catch your next video. 💚🌱💚

Good Morning Gena! Your African violets are too cute! I hope you will keep us updated on them.
I’ve ordered from this shop also and have been really pleased with their prices and their plants. I recently purchased a tiny anthurium veitchii from them and it is adorable 😍
Hope you have a great day and I look forward to your next video!

I love the ruffley flowers! 🤩💕💖🌸 I don't have great luck getting AVs to flower 😫 I wonder if it's because I don't repot often enough. I lightly fertilize with every watering. Maybe it's a light thing 🤔 I don't know. But they are definitely not as fun when they don't flower. Lol. Your new plants are so pretty 😍 💗 I'll have to check out that etsy shop... like I need more plants 🙃
