Wow! That made me laugh and cry...what an inspiration. And I know that streak of rebelliousness well. Brava Salma!

I love you so much Selma to represent Frida not authentic but close to what we thought of her and Diego. One of my top 5 movies ever

Salma Hayek and Nicole Kidman should've both won an Oscar for Best Actress that year. Salma for Frida and Nicole for The Hours.

Nothing against Jane Pauley but I like the old icon with just the sunshine 🌞 better.

I love the movie.... just not that one bit, so I just watched it once. I was in my tweens when I first saw a Salma Hayek movie, and I always love her films, and kinda look up to her so I felt so uncomfortable when I saw that scene. When I recently learned what really happened behind the scenes, what she'd done to get through that scene, the more I respect her. As a woman, and out of respect, I may try to watch the movie again BUT I'll skip that scene. It's not even important in the movie.

while i love salma a lot, i think its laughable how actors talk about the work as if its cure for cancer. mine workers work hard, builders do..doctors do..but not someone whos basically playing pretend on a higher level..like..ok yea its cool but..come one..
