I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for...

I love that they are protected by the gvt and are an oligarchy.
Picked up CM with 6.82% yield last November.
This week sold some BNS on a day it was up 3ish% to buy BMO down 7ish%
Also picked up some TD last week... love the banks!

The Canadian banks have been paying dividends for almost 200 years, never missed a payment or lowered/cut their dividends all that time. What's there not to love?

My favourite dividend stock is ARE as I got it at $10.61 and it pays me 7% yield and it’s now worth over $18

Recently laid off at 55, I have a $9K military pension and access to Tricare and VA healthcare. With a 401(k), stocks, and savings, I’m thinking of selling or renting my house and moving abroad. What are some good passive income opportunities?
