I wish I could remember the name of the actress playing Ms Picklesby. In the movie Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore she played Vera (same, very laid back style). And I could be wrong but I believe her sister played Vera on the tv version of the movie: Alice. " Little sister " played the part 180 degrees different.
