I'm only at chapter 9, but I like the Vanguard Scarf on Eredor to move him close to the enemies, then use the in tandem quietus to get him 2 turns right away to get into the enemies as quick as possible to provoke.

Fun combo to use both of the ressurection earrings on a certain unit with the Revive passive (no spoilers) so that he’s got 4 lives and can REALLY be in the enemy lines for a while

Rear guards cloak is great on Erador, it goes well with his passive. Have him face backwards to any enemy and his back damage is lowered very sugnificantly. You should try it, I used his back to tank attacks, and lure enemies.

Red Guard Scarf on Eredor is OP, he ends up taking less damage from back shots than front/side shots, and being that the game's AI prioritizes back shots, you can move him up, have him face away from enemies and just be a damage sponge. Pretty cool!

The movement bangle is at the Roselle labor camp at the salt lake. From where you start go left a bit to get onto the planks, then straight up and along the map's border. It's a shiny spot on the edge, not really near Frederica

Red Anklet on Rudolph was one of my favorite combos when utilized with Lie and Wait which gives an increase to luck and accuracy if you end the turn on the same tile you started the turn on.

I liked the Red Scarf on Hossabara since she cannot heal herself and she does pretty good damage once fully upgraded.

Vanguard scarf on Benedict, 5 dragon shields on turn one. Based af.

I liked Red Scarf on Anna because I used her to get a lot of finishing kills by triggering multiple follow-up attacks and back attacks.

I liked amulet of immunity on Geela just to make sure she doesn’t have to deal with status since I hate the brokenness of Medina and I never use her.

I would buy any DLC for this however unlikely it would be likely to come.

Vanguard scarf doesn't put you first every turn, just the first. But it does give you a headstart and next turn calculations run from your last move so you will start early next turn but fall more and more behind as the fight goes on. It's the same principle with now, fast acting medication and in tandem. They place your next move based on when you just acted rather than when you would've been without the turn order shenanigans.

I had my red scarf on seranoa, hawk dive became a potion basically when attacking mages.

This game strongly reminds me of the Ogre Battle/Final Fantasy Tactics games. Shouldn't be a surprise because all those games were made by Square and Enix prior to the companies merging. The art style, gameplay, and music are like a mix of the previously mentioned games.

I combined black anklet with the bangle of vitality on hughette to counter act the damage. The heal occurs first so she always was below max HP but after that they cancelled them out. And I really liked the red scarf on the spoiler character that damages themselves. The self damaging move does so so much damage that she often was self healing back the damage. And as others have mentioned the rear guard cloak is great on erador / flannagan

The rear guard makes a lot of sense for Roland since he will be flanking enemies often, and he is too frail to take a back attack himself.

Bangle of Vitality can go together with black anklet. They'll negate each other leaving only the stat boosts. But unless you need both the attack/magic and defense, 2 amulets or bracelets are usually better.

Very useful guide, I'm sad I missed the Vanguard scarf on my first playthrought, I'll get it soon enough in my NG+ now
