Barcelona Target Chiesa | Nike Negotiations Continue

Barcelona are still negotiating with Nike; the Club have received three offers for Mika Faye; and Barcelona are targeting Chiesa.

I think Chiesa at an affordable transfer fee is not bad at all. Yes he’s been injury riddled, but he was at one point a promising winger and looked good during Italy’s Euro Cup victory run. BUT i would do this with a Coman loan. We’d need insurance so just pray that both don’t get injured at the same time. Also this keeps competition high.

Thought the Nike Deal was a done deal pending last minute formalities on both sides. Thought the deal was meant to be finalised last month but now Laporta is still negotiating… I call bu## sh###. The club has gone from signing Nico to targeting Chiesa and in the process acquiring Olmo for over the market price. Lenglet is still hanging about, still to be offloaded and we offload Gundo because kids in the locker room were offended because he spoke the truth. The fact that Man City have taken him back ‘no questions asked’ says a lot about how this club is managed. We buy players for over the market value only to try and push them out 1 year later and get rid of them at below the market value. This is not the Barcelona I grew to love, the board has made this club ‘jokelona’
Poor planning, poor organisation and reckless spending. This club needs to run by professionals not freaking culers TBFH.

Clubs & player still “bullying” us in the transfer market as the team hasn’t been performing well over past couple seasons so value of players dropped or clubs not interested unless it’s on loan or free. Also because every club know we are financially desperate thus forcing us into deals we wouldn’t have done if we were financially stable. If he can stay healthy, Chiesa would be a steal at that price. However, that “if” is doing a lot of work. I would go for it at this point if Nico and Leao are out of the question.

Hope Faye gets his future sorted soon and gets to play first team football. If we can afford Chiesa and he’s fit again then we can try to take him to Barca as a low cost option. We can’t afford Leao so we should forget about him. The club isn’t financially healthy to afford those high cost deals and it would also be high risk. Don’t forget Dembele and Coutinho 2 expensive deals.

Chiesa would be good business. Get him in Flick's new conditioning program and his injuries will dry up. 10-15 million is a damn good price for someone who can get 15+ goal contributions per season.

Like with most our signings in the last few years “he’s willing to lower his salary to come to Barcelona”, only to find out later on that we offered huge money than we can’t afford. The list is endless. We should just be honest and state the facts.
