I haven't watched it yet, but I feel like Mel being in the opening as well as having so much focus around herself kinda confirms her as a champion.

I like that the light it is used as symbolism for the characters. The light it also used as a foreshadowing for what going to happen in the show.

When we said that the first season was a master piece... It seems pretty clear that they took that as a challenge on every single lvl.

Jinx shooting a bullet cutting the shadows, ekko's shadow ticking, so much references and actual art. The fact that they all look like their doing a coregraphy of their own stories. It's pretty wild tbh.

As with the season 1 intro, it's interesting to see which characters are represented by which lines:

Someone reaching for a mask: I wake up to the sound of the silence that allows
The same person, revealed to be Viktor: For my mind to run around with my ear up to the ground.
Ambessa: I'm searching to behold the stories that are told
Caitlyn: When my back is to the world that was smiling when I turned.
Jayce: Tell you you're the greatest
Ambessa to Mel: But once you turn, they hate us.
Jinx: Oh, the misery!
Vi and Caitlyn: Everybody wants to be my enemy! Spare the sympathy!
Ekko: Everybody wants to be my enemy!

I want to tell lot of the lore and the connection about the story of the season 2, but don't want to spoil everyone, the only thing I want to say is, maybe ekko "change" fate, for everyone

I swear to god when I first watched this intro on Netflix I saw Isha’s face at 0:40 right after Jinx’s face disappeared. Am I the only one who saw this?

This is what I gathered from this intro and this comings from someone who doesn’t really know the lore from the game and I intend to find out as I’m watching the series. So I don’t attend on being correct nor want any spoilers of people know any. Thanks

0:12 Ekkos shadow is ticking and I feel like this relates to him being trapped in that hexcore with Jayce and hermidinger. I feel like maybe this hints at that he gained a understand of how the concept of time works since we kind of see that happening during that scene

0:34 I think the relation to whatever this “black rose” is, they’re obsessed with Mel. Idk, based on when we see Amara it looks like ambessa has some unpaid debt she hasn’t finished so in replacement they took Mel (once again, this is speculation and I don’t know the lore from the game )

0:38 Jinx is a sign of justice hence why there’s so much people with blue hair in the teaser for the next act 😮

0:42 Vi and Caitlyn are cooked 😓

0:45 My girl Caitlyn has some stuff going on but based off of this I feel like this just represents that as someone who’s in power or holds a lot of power she makes a bad decision (she’s in distress here and there’s a crown individual shadow thing behind her)
Or maybe someone who has higher power is manipulating her


Edit 2 : I also noticed by the colors Caitlyn is the only one wearing a black long sleeve at 0:45.
Jinx, Vi, Ekko, and Mel are all wearing something white. Ambessa is red, viktor is wearing white/grey, Jayce is wearing white too (at 0:27 if you don’t believe me)
