Check out the highlights from the new Mets prospects at Double-A Binghamton on Tuesday night, as Drew Gilbert hit a bases-loaded 2-run single in the 3rd inning to put Binghamton on the board, Luisangel Acuna showed off his speed on the base paths, and Jerimiah Jackson notched his first RBI as part of the Mets organization.

I was at this game! These prospects put on quite a show. It’s much more fun watching these guys play than the major league team.

Gilbert + Acuna are exciting prospects. It was smart for us to move on from Verlander & Scherzer. They still have some gas in the tank left but we just restocked our farm & added to our already good prospect group. These two could be in Queens soon & be a big part of the future.

We still have a loaded roster. Alvarez is a stud & Baty should be back soon with a reset in the minors. Then we can add Mauricio & then Acuna, Gilbert, Parada & Jett. We got a lot younger & more athletic. Now Billy has to add some top starters, more bullpen help & a big OF bat which should put us back on top in 2024z

Nice to see the new acquisitions playing well already and they get a few months in the system to basically get a head start for next year. Looking good fellas!

Hopefully, Acuna will be a next gen version of Jose Reyes with his speed but just a weaker arm.
