I always dislike his background singers. He always finds the most egotistical, complacent vocalists who can’t contain their wish to be seen. And it’s like: you’re ALL past your prime. You’re not gonna be discovered and offered a recording contract. This is it. Be happy. Just be an audibly-good background singer. Don’t turn this into a show starring you. The audience doesn’t care about you. Like at all. They’re here for James.
