The style of English trainers somehow is a reflection of the state of mind in which the whole Country is. While others are developing in England "The old ways" are more important than being successful.
When national pride gets so big that every change (which is necessary for getting better) is looked at as a betrayal of the heritage, it will lose.

People say things like this don’t want their teams to win because having a worse manager that’s English over Thomas Tuchel. Chelsea was good under Thomas with bad players. As an American, knowing our team is so bad, knowing we don’t have a good coach, and that if any other coach of any other nation would come in like a Luis Enrique or Carlo Ancelotti, I’d be celebrating into the night because our team would actually have a chance of doing something with England, winning any major title for many years Thomas Tuchel can give them a chance, and England should be celebrating like they’ve won the World Cup
