A thing that no one talks about however, related to safespotting in dungeons(which mages uses a lot) is that the evade in vanilla never went away, so if you aggro something, you're gonna have to fight it

We did this with my friend, he had hunter and his only job was pull as many mobs while i was drinking. Since we were server 8th and 9th to hit 60 all the zones were empty for us to aoe farm. I wasnt first mage to hit 60, but we had fun playing music etc. Eventually got banned since i used bug and blizzarded ubrs last boss 10 times, cause waiting for others to hit 60 was boring.

This is called a spell cleave run and it's etremely fast to level. Currently doing cath runs on the new fresh pvp server.

Mages are still broken. I was able to solo level in dungeons from 22 to 60 😂. Didnt have to worry about fighting 20 mages for AoE spots. Was able to afford my epic mount at level 58..for thos who care:

Level 1-16 by questing. 16-22 by AoEing gnolls in west fall or the crabs in west fall. 22-32: solo stockade mobs due to pathing bug by entrance. 32-40: Solo SM Grave Yard. 40-52: solo ZF zombies. 52-60 solo Sunken Temple mobs from wall jumping. All these solo videos are on youtube. Mad exp and gold. Most fun i had leveling a mage

As paladin who level with help of aoe mage I cannot complain

Does anyone's know if the steam tonk controller is able to aggro mobs in classic wow? Or is it like a non combat pet which is completely ignored by mobs

This method is so easy in stockades because all the mobs are mellee and theres no way to run left and right so the pack stays together

I was in the beta way back in like 2002/2003 and some of the broken stuff in the game was just hilarious and oh so much fun. I won't complain about the fixes: people who want the game to be broken do not understand how much it would kill the game. It's why private servers with special rules always feel kind of "what's the point?"
