After a short break, we return to New England to find Kirk and Mellifera on a monster hunt.

Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead is a turn-based survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Struggle to survive in a harsh, persistent, procedurally generated world. Scavenge the remnants of a dead civilization for food, equipment, or, if you are lucky, a vehicle with a full tank of gas to get you the hell out of Dodge. Fight to defeat or escape from a wide variety of powerful monstrosities, from zombies to giant insects to killer robots and things far stranger and deadlier, and against the others like yourself, that want what you have…

Also slipped Hivemind from the Dead Space OST in there, and the intro is of course from Return of the Living Dead.

I really like how you weaved character dialogues in between gameplay and decision making, like saying Kirk should rest up for a day then having his portrait pop up and say "nah I'm good." Really adds a lot to these characters and makes them a lot more likable than a lot of other series like this

I think what I love most about this series and your approach to roleplay is how it replicates the tone of Romero's first three dead movies, especially Dawn before the bikers show up. The way things sit on a razors edge between horror/violent outburst and genuine levity. I havent seen many pieces of media in general manage to capture those same feelings and i absolutely love it.

Huzzah, more C:DDA! I really like how you weave character moments into the action, like Kirk calling watch out for Snail, it really helps to pull the viewer in I think :)

Haven't caught the last few episodes but I LOVE what you are doing with this series, the little character moments really go a long way. Your narration is also much more relaxed than these RPs typically are which I really appreciate. Do you narrate as you record or after the fact?
