I can feel your anger! A long time ago I had a channel here about animal rights with a huge fan base. It was so much work but it sure made a lot of people aware. I really felt I could change some things for better. Of course it was a controversial subject and there were strong lobbyist groups fighting against my channel, flagging my vids etc. Youtube finally gave in and started to delete vids. In the end (after several years!) they closed the whole channel for dubious reasons. I was devastated and couldn't do anything!
Some month later I registered again with a silly new nick name and never uploaded another vid here.
I hope you can sort it out with Youtube, cause this is really ridiculous...

My video got taken down in less than an hour after uploading it. Barely got 20 views before it got removed and they havent told me anything yet. No why or anything.

First it said that my account was terminated when it isn't apparently and now they're it's in good condition but havent told me why my video is gone so I'm impatiently waiting on a reason and checking my email constantly.

I'm totally with you Jarrett, I think your videos are brilliant and to have one removed by YouTube is wrong. They should have at least got you involved first before removing it. One thing I do know though is that sometimes the video content can lead to videos being removed, like if you play certain music or songs in the video there could then be a copyright issue, so things like that you have to bear in mind when posting videos on YouTube.

YouTube thinks that they are a god. They take down what they want for whatever reason they want. I haven't seen your video, but after watching you for a long time, I can't see you doing ANYTHING that would come in conflict with YT. I've had similar issues with YouTube. They need to sort their stupid system out! You have an excellent channel and I really enjoy watching your videos when they come out. Don't let this put you off mate :)

100% agreed. Never had anything taken down, but I have often been cited for "matched third party content that is allowed by the copyright holder" on music stuff, but it almost never been the actual matched recording, but someone elses. I've never contested it because it isn't a dreaded "strike" (which I know of some friends who DID have strikes removed by contacting the copyright holders), but it seems lie more trouble than it's worth to contest. I say, just re-post it and move on. The randomness is annoying & should be addressed.

I just had a video removed . It was an anti violence anti terrorist song that had been on you tube for about 5 years. A few years ago they removed it and I appealed explaining what should have been obvious, that the song was an anti violence song. So You Tube upheld my appeal and put it back up. In March 2021 I got an insane email from you tube that I lost my appeal and they took the video down. I thought this was all over but evidently somebody or something at you tube thought the appeal was never resolved and wrote me that I had lost the appeal . Thanks You Tube for verifying how crazy this place has become .
