If you start your SIP at 25 and STOP these SIPs at 35, at 60 you will have 9.2 Crores assuming you did 10k SIP between 25 and 25.

While if your friend starts SIP at 35, and continues his SIPs until 60, at 60 your friend will only have 6.5 Crores assuming your friend also does 10k sip.

YOUR total investment of 12 lacs became 9.2 Crore

And YOUR friends total investment of 60 lacs became 6.5 crores

Both got exactly the same returns of 15% every year.
