Volkswagen ID.4 vs Hyundai IONIQ 5 POV test drive comparison. No talking, just driving and showing the car. I have driven both the Volkswagen ID.4 and the Hyundai IONIQ 5 and In this video I made a comparison based on a POV walkaround around the 2 cars to see the exterior looks. You can also see a POV drive comparison between the Hyundai IONIQ 5 and the Volkswagen ID.4 to see the differences: accelerations, city driving, ride comfort (bumpy road test), driving at night to see the lights, driving on country roads. You can also see a comparison between how they park. At the end of the video you can also see a comparison between the LED Parametric Pixel Lights of the Hyundai IONIQ 5 and the Matrix LED Lights of the VW ID.4.

Definetly the ioniq5. The vw looks so boring in comparison. In the rearview I'm always wondering if it is a Id3 or id4 they look the same.
Inside the vw looks good but the seats and dashboard are a bit outdated. The ioniq5 looks more futuristic also in the night. I bought the ioniq5 and get it next month. It's also the price tag id4 is a much more expensive car with less features here in Sweden. Ioniq 5 is fully equipped for less money and better quality.

Die Innengeräusche bei Kopfsteinpflaster hängt sehr stark von der Bereifung ab. Ich denke die Fahrzeuge selber tun sich da nix. Die Sicht nach vorne raus da geht der Punkt für mich klar an Hyundai. Der ID4 ist größer da passt mehr in den Kofferraum jedoch das Platzangebot für die Insassen und den Comfort da sehe ich ebenfalls Hyundai vorne. Hab meinen seit Ende letzte Woche und entwickel mich grad zum Fanboy 😂

2:50 Der Unterschied ist ja extrem. Im Gegensatz um Ioniq 5, klappert der iD-4 ja wie ein alter Leiterwagen auf dieser Straße.

Ioniq is a bit better for the rear passengers but quite (a lot) worse if you carry big, boxy luggage because of the shape.

Kia EV6 seems 1% superior to Ionic 5, which in turn gets a 1% over the ID.4 in my opinion, but styling might be a bigger factor. I think that all of these new cars are an A+, It's hard to choose without a test drive. It will come down to seat comfort or minor differences in personal preference.

Definately the ID.4! Its design is great. The Ioniq5 looks interesting and unique, but in my eyes not pretty at all. So VW all the way!

I like both, I test drove the VW and I liked it, but I'm waiting next year to test drive the ioniq5, however I heard that they have coolant leakage problems and overheated batteries. I hope hyundai has fixed this problem.

I've heard the VW ID.4 has a more gradual buildup of torque whereas the Hyundai Ioniq 5 has more immediate, Tesla-like torque.
