Answer 1: When a girl is married and has a baby too early, several detrimental effects are inflicted upon the health the baby and the mother. Children born to adolescent mothers are more likely to be stunted and have lower weight than those born to adult mothers.

Given the relation between age of a girl entering motherhood and the age of a girl at marriage, increasing marriageable age from 18 to 21 could be a promising approach to improve maternal and child nutrition.

Counter arguments:

• increasing the legal age of marriage for girls may expand the number of married persons deemed underage and criminalize them, rendering underage married girls without legal protection.

• It may act as a weapon in the hands of parents to punish their childrenl for elopement

• The reasons for early marriage vary across the country. The issue of poor nutritional status in teenage mothers is also contributed by poverty.

• lack of proper education, poor economic status among teenage mothers also contribute to poor nutritional outcomes for the mother and child.

Way forward:

• While legal enactment to prevent child marriages is necessary, there is also the need to simultaneously work towards empowering the girls by ensuring education, ensuring economic and social empowerment of women and girls.

• There is the need for well resourced initiatives aimed at increasing girls’ access to education and health, create enabling opportunities for economic independence of the girls, which will result in empowerment of the girls. This will not just delay marriage but lead to a long term, positive health and education outcomes.

CONTEXT:
The time has come to seriously consider introducing a law that makes it mandatory for employers to grant women menstrual leave.

Details:
In general, we are well aware about women have the most mental strength than a men
But when compare with physical strength, women are facing a lot of problems such, menstrual in every month and maternity.


Already government have implemented lots of schemes for maternity, in order to support working women.

As like the maternity leave, in the recent, the Zomato have offer women to take ten days menstrual leave per annum.


Argues on menstrual leave:
As per Barkha Dutt's statement, by menstrual leave, gendering in the work place,
Already, many toughest tasks are not given to women, because they are physically weak than a men, now it would be confirmed more the gendering in the working place.

Critical analyzation:

Pros:
1. While menstruating period, women will get pain, mental stress, and it will seek for a good rest atleast a day.
2. Even it will help to avoid unnecessary mistakes in working place, in order to reduce lot of problems such, technical and account.

Cons:

1. Patriarchy and feminism may take place in working place, while women's personal issues such menstrual cycle will become transparent.
2. This menstrual leave may be misused in the future for some personal reasons.
3. This leave can make more laziness in physically as well as mentally and will make inferiority to the women.

Conclusion:
I personally appreciate this decision and it will be good, if the government have a serious consideration on menstrual leave and make it mandatory.
