I like how you do your construction layouts. However, in this particular portrait, the overall value contrasts, I feel, are a bit too strong. Yes, the photo is somewhat 'washed' out, but again I believe you could have 'backed off' on the value contrast on the right side in particular. It can often make a feminine face appear too masculine and angular. But again, I do like your layout approach. You do good work.
