Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 Longplay (Amiga) [QHD]

Developed by Magnetic Fields and published by Gremlin in 1991

Undoubtedly one of the best racing games on the Amiga, and of the whole 16-bit generation, Magnetic Fields really showed what the machine was capable of with Lotus 2.

The game is a real showcase for the Amiga, so it was worth creating a 1440p recording!

Forent & Night - piece of cake, could finish with some 20 seconds to spare.
Fog - noticeable increase in difficulty.
Winter - quite easy once you learned to avoid skidding too much.
Desert - end up out of the track and it takes forever to regain speed.
Motorway - quite pleasant after all.
Marshes - miss one extra time and you're in trouble.
Storm - forgives no mistake.

The only thing missing was the lack of in-game music, but on the other hand the sound of engine was quite useful for manual gear.

For those who watch it now for the first time, in a real Amiga when you go under a tunnel the hardware audio filter turns on so is even more muffled than this [and in old 1.2 machines the red power LED turns on too]
