They asked my fiancé how much I make and how we met. And how long we’ve been together. She said they checked her background certificate moreso than any of our pictures or her vaccines.

I'm here in Ohio. I went through Solomon Immigration Law services. After they sent in our K-1 Fiance Visa application, California USCIS received it back in Dec 10 2024. So this is now June 24th and in a couple weeks it will be 7 months that we havent heard anything. Was just letting people know of a direct case thats currently in progress and how long the wait time may be involved for you or others

All the info I found was confusing in this one point:

1) We apply for K1 and get it.
2) Partner comes to the US, and we get married.
3) Do I get to stay now and just apply for Permanent Residency and wait for it while in the US, or do I have to leave the US while I wait for my Perm. Resident permit?
