I also found that if you have a sample cut, you can just doubleclick somewhere and it will create the same exact cut where your mouse is. So you don't have to click and drag. Something like that, I was just testing again, I think you have to drag just a little and double click.

I've been trying to use BoxCutter and I've found that many actions on Blender 3.3 or newer have such poor UI latency that the tool is nigh unusable. Like "Blender UI hardlock" unusable. It's worst when I'm trying to make small modifications to models that I had to import as a STL. Should I just be decimating or ensuring the triangle count is below a value that "makes sense" for my hardware (which is not underpowered, being a Ryzen 5800x, 64GB of RAM, etc).

Most blender performance videos focus on final render and baking, which makes trying to troubleshoot live edit hard.
