My child support case has been closed since August 2019, now retired, a order came up for my Social Security to be garnished to the tune of $450 a month, i call Illinois disbursement all day they say the account in closed but won't send me one thing that sez thats its closed and I have Zero balance, I continue to be stonewalled to the point where Cook County won't even print copies of my case at the courthouse, they don't even know where the money is going that is being garnished, I guess its going into some ghost account the county has to financially cripple Social security recipients, im tired of being railroaded and bled dry by the corrupt Cook County child support system. 👎

I am in a situation where me and this girl was in a relationship for almost a year and she recently told me she was pregnant and then a few months later In a argument told me it isn't but now telling me she believes it is mine and is now trying to threaten me with keeping the baby away from me even tho the baby not here yet or we not even sure if it's mines, this will be my first child If it's mines and i would love to be in its life if it's mine...I wanted to know is there a way we can get joint custody and any tips... I got text messages proof with time date and names of her saying she was going to keep it away from me if it's mine idk what to do 😢

So let’s say there is a substantial change of circumstances for a parent in IL, is there a statue time limit for when the parent can file a motion to change child residence? Such as I won my son 2 years ago, however his mother wants to buy a house and try and win him back, is there a time limit from when she moves that she has to file a motion? 6 months? Or she can’t file?
