Rush Copley Medical Group Nurse Wellness Project

“Incorporating the Outside Inside” – This nurse wellness project for RCMG nurses aimed to enhance the nurse triage offices and address concerns regarding nurse isolation and confined workspaces. We helped to transform workspaces by “bringing the outside in” by adding the illusion of windows, bringing in nature through desk plants and nature-patterned fluorescent light covers, and purchasing air purifiers. We held two “Make and Take” events where nurses were able to select from a variety of plants and pots so they could enhance their work spaces that were unique to them. Results from the post-project survey revealed that nurse wellness had increased after the met.
