It didn't work for me. I used a portable car charger with 2 long spiked nails and nothing came up. I even plugged a power cord to it.

Can you catch earthworms with a 12v battery? Does it need to be high voltage?

A car battery won’t hurt you. My jumper cables are all metal. I don’t feel a thing when they’re connected to a battery

12 volts DC will not shock you, you are a fool !~ If you want to shock them, try a 12 volt horn relay in circuit or a model "T" FORD Spark coil, but straight 12 volts will not make a worm do anything but laugh at you (me too)
