If you’re looking for a minimal, plain white sneaker, I highly suggest the New Republic Kurt! I got mine for around $60 with a discount code and they have held up pretty decent over the last year! Fashion is what you make it. Some people can pull off outfits that others can’t.. find what works for you and forget all this rule stuff.

shoe rules you should never break

1) covering your shoes - you look sloppy, cuff them
2) spending more than you can afford - especially on trends
3) white sneakers - they are the best and keep them clean
4) sandals and jeans are a no go
5) have your own style - do not wear the same stuff as your friends
6) use shoe trees - i use newspaper because wooden shoe trees kind of expensive
