Avondale Update: Aquatic Center Groundbreaking

We have BIG news! Avondale is building an Aquatic Center at Civic Center, right off of Avondale Blvd and Van Buren St. The facility is expected to open in 2023 and features a number of amenities:
-A 10-lane, 25-yard competition pool;
-Diving boards;
-Instructional pool,
-Kiddie play pool with aquatic playground and splash features;
-Water volleyball and basketball courts;
-Lazy river;
-Multiple water slides;
-Multi-purpose rooms;
-Lifeguard and manager work space;
-Locker rooms, and spacious deck areas.
