India extends lockdown as infections surge

More than 7,500 cases and 239 deaths have now been confirmed in the country. But extreme restrictions are already causing severe hardship among India's poorest people. And hard-pressed hospitals are battling the surge in infections - facing shortages of protective equipment and staff.

There are many companies in india who have started manufacturing PPE. Tata motors and mahindra have started manufacturing ventilators. This international media will not say that at all. I used to think that American media was less curropt...but in reality they are worse than india.
