The 2 things I would do different than the video says is you will be taxed 25% of the winnings right away but the bracket you are in from winning a large sum is at 37% and the remaining 12% is due at tax time, I'd have them take out 40% instead of the 25% right off the bat and get a little back at tax time.

Also I would not hire an attorney I would find a law firm that specializes in many fields and put them on retainer. I feel an attorney can take from you but a firm on retainer will be more difficult to steal from me.
