I've been playing Roguelikes for many years, and I've always thought about making one! Combine that with a desire to learn Rust, and we've got a match made in heaven.
In this video, I
- added a magic mapping scroll
- took a diversion to set up neovim
- added bear traps
- created an entry-trigger system to cause the bear trap to damage the player
Note that the GitHub repo is several days ahead of this video - I’ll catch up soon though.
