Hi Guys! In this video, Neeraj sir will be talking about how to score good marks in CA Intermediate Auditing. Neeraj sir will discuss some important points that can help you to score at least 60 marks in Audit.

You can use these points to score good marks in your upcoming Audit Exam.

Auditing and Assurance is the sixth paper of CA Intermediate. This paper provides knowledge about audit procedures and consists of techniques and skills required to apply in the practical world.

The understanding of Audit is not just required for clearing the exam but is also important for your practice when you become a Chartered Accountant.

Auditing is paper 6 of CA Inter group 2 exams. The syllabus of CA Inter Auditing is divided into 13 chapters & few SAs:

👉Chapter 1: Nature, Objective and Scope of Audit

👉Chapter 2: Audit Strategy, Audit Planning and Audit Programme

👉Chapter 3: Audit Documentation and Audit Evidence

👉Chapter 4: Risk Assessment and Internal Control

👉Chapter 5: Fraud and Responsibilities of the Auditor in this Regard

👉Chapter 6: Audit in an Automated Environment

👉Chapter 7: Audit Sampling

👉Chapter 8: Analytical Procedures

👉Chapter 9: Audit of Items of Financial Statements

👉Chapter 10: The Company Audit

👉Chapter 11: Audit Report

👉Chapter 12: Audit of Banks

👉Chapter 13: Audit of Different Types of Entities

👉SA 200-299

👉SA 300-399

👉SA 500-699

👉SA 700-799

Scoring good marks in CA Inter Audit has become relatively easier than before, thanks to the new paper pattern introduced in 2019. As per the new CA Inter Audit exam pattern, there will be three types of questions - MCQs, Correct or Incorrect, and other descriptive questions.

The MCQs will be of 30 marks .
The paper will also include Correct/Incorrect type questions of 14 marks. The rest of the questions will be descriptive type.

To score good marks in CA Inter Auditing, first of all, you have to decide the order of study, which means the sequence in which you should study your chapters to better understand the subject.

Following are the points which you should keep in mind during the exam to score good marks in Audit:

👉You should use keywords while writing answers of the Audit exam. Include the technical keywords which are being used by the ICAI in the Study Material, RTPs, MTPs, and Suggested Answers.

👉Give mock tests, write answers and see where you are lacking.

👉Presentation of answers to score good marks in Audit.

2. T/F with reasons not go round & round, go with practice
3. Last line of almost every question, last line is direct ques (identify those ques)
4 some ques.are not directly asked, based on case study



Write all answers(jahaan tak aata hai), don't leave blank question....
Leaving question means looking for next attempt and failing this attempt

Sir I got audit exempted getting 64 in dec 2020 and I didn't cleared in that attempt. Further I scored 194, 192 and 202 in May 21, dec21 and may22 I didn't cleared I last may 22 bcoz I failed in Paper 7 getting 32 sir really not getting what the things are happening, really need some guidance sir .

Hello sir, thank you for your wonderful videos but I have a small problem
As you said direct questions are easy to score marks but it is the opposite for me
I cannot mug up a theory question but I understand concepts and have conceptual knowledge
So i personally find case studies much easier as I can conceptually express the answer.
How should I approach ?

But my taxation is weak only scoring 25-30 marks sir please help and make a video how to score good
In mock I am pass in all subjects but taxation is a big problem. I want to clear in first attempt and giving both groups
