A FIFA deveria ter escolhido a Arábia Saudita como sede da Copa do Mundo 2022 no lugar do Catar. A Arábia Saudita é um país maior, tem mais tradição no futebol, além de ter uma liga forte no continente asiático. 2030 is gonna be a very interesting year for sure im betting on morocco to win the bid for that world cup because Africa is a very underrated continent in terms of football so i think they deserve another shot to host the tournament but i like the three continent idea here

I'm not sure if it's even eligible considering normally you have to allow a 2 tournament gap between bids from the same continent, and Qatar->Saudi Arabia would only have a 1 tournament gap, but considering it's a cross-continental bid, does it count?

Edit: so apparently the comments don't understand what I'm talking about. In normal circumstances, an Asian country would be unable to host the WC until 2034, to leave a 2 WC gap between the hosting of the tournament. That would rule Saudi Arabia out of the bid, but I don't know if that rule would still apply because there are also non-European sides involved in the bid

Egypt is now starting to construct three new stadiums, like the European stadiums, and the stadiums will be in tourist areas such as the Mediterranean Sea and the pyramids.

Big no for me. Most of these are either athletics stadiums (which shouldn’t count in my opinion as fans are so far away from the pitch) and secondly lots of these stadiums are on the smaller side of things. But I will say that the stadium in Saudi Arabia with only 3 stands on is beautiful and very unique.

In Qatar 2022 the opening match was in al bait with capacity of 60k. Is that an exemption or it has ok not to be 80k ?
